This one was a true highlight build for us. Our customer had an incredible piece of waterfront property on Bass River and wanted a gathering spot that actually matched the setting - not just a generic patio setup, but something that felt intentional and built to last.

What we ended up with is a curved stone wall fire feature anchored by two fieldstone pillars, each capped in bluestone and topped with large concrete fire bowls. Running between them is a linear fire pit inset with blue fire glass, giving the whole setup a clean, modern contrast against the natural fieldstone. The bluestone cap ties it all together - smooth, dark, and sharp against the rounded river rock below.

The design does something really smart here. It positions the fire feature as the centerpiece, but the view does most of the work. Sitting in one of those Adirondacks, you're looking straight out over the water with boats in the harbor, open sky, and the river stretching out in front of you. The fire element extends the usability of that space well past sunset.

The cobblestone detail underfoot adds texture and grounds the whole patio. It's the kind of detail that separates a well-built outdoor space from one that just looks assembled. When you're working on a property like this, every material choice matters - and getting that layered look right between the stone wall base, the bluestone cap, and the cobble surface takes real craftsmanship.

This is exactly the kind of work we love doing. It's not cookie-cutter. It's built around the property, the view, and how the customer actually wants to use the space.
